One of Surrey’s oldest and most successful athletics clubs. We welcome and support individuals of any standard, each of whom are valued for their effort and achievement towards the club and their own personal goals.
Walton AC provides qualified coaching in all athletic disciplines and participates in a number of different leagues to provide appropriate competition for all age groups in Track & Field, Cross Country, Road Running and Sporthall Athletics. Walton AC is based at the new Elmbridge Sports Hub at Waterside Drive in Walton-on-Thames, including an eight lane all-weather track with floodlighting, full jumps and throws facilities and a main spectator stand incorporating a large clubroom which can be booked for aerobics activities, changing facilities and showers.
We provide track & field athletics for all ages and our members have the opportunity to train and compete in various track, jump and throw disciplines.
Cross country races are through the winter months, with courses that include long hills, short hills, technical challenges, grass and trails.
Road running is all year round with various competitions available. Distances range from the mile to 5-10km, half and full marathons as well as Parkrun.
Our training is aimed to create athletes that want to improve, compete or maintain fitness. We offer track, field, cross country and road running that is inclusive for all.
Set up to give children in years 4 to 7 the opportunity to try out many athletics activities – including jumping, throwing, running and hurdling.
Providing opportunity to take part regularly in athletics through fun, competitive, and engaging sessions over a variety of athletic disciplines designed for all levels of ability.
