Mark Price finished with a huge personal best, running 2:31.50, the fastest time by a Walton athlete for many years, and he finished inside the top 250 runners.

Charlotte Ryan was the first Walton female across the finish line on her marathon debut, running 2:58.34 despite having a fall, leaving her with some very well earnt war wounds!

Nicholas Grobler ran his second fastest marathon in an impressive 2:48.41 representing the Puma Project 3 and is excited for opportunities in the 2026 major marathons. But first, the 2025 Chicago marathon!

Next across the line was Craig Jarman in 2:51.33 and Charlie Pedlar not far behind, running a brilliant 3:01.15.

Mandy Ruks, who has been representing Walton for nearly 10 years, ran the Boston marathon on 20th April in 3:41.19, following it up only a week later in London and ran 4:25.15.

One of our newest members, second claim athlete Natalie Sacre, ran her first event in Walton colours, running 3:48.32.

We appreciate what huge achievements these are for all our athletes, and on what was a very warm day too. This is a promising start to the 2025 marathon attempts, with more to come later in the year.
