Mike Futit got the action underway in the M50 discus, throwing 22.12m for 4th place. Mike also placed 4th in the shot put with a 7.35m effort.
Robert A Smith jumped to second place in the M35 high jump, clearing 1.45m, then lead the Walton charge in the 3000m. Robert ran 10.04 for 5th place in the M35 A race, closely followed by Dominic Reed in 10.16 for second place in the M35 B race.
Tim Grose ran his fastest 3000m for 5 years in the M50 category, running 11:08 for 3rd place.
Continuing in the 3000m, Mandy Ruks ran another W45 club record, improving on her previous time, set in May, by just over half a second, clocking in at 11:49.3. Mandy secured 4th place in the W35 A race. Congratulations Mandy.
Adam Parons continued his fine form by running 10:31.6 in the non-scoring race.
