Track Events
Short Distances
The sprint events provided electrifying moments, with Brook Cronin dominating the 100m and 200m races. Brook secured first place in both events, clocking 10.73 seconds in the 100m and 21.57 seconds in the 200m, earning a total of 12 points. Constance Flory, finished second in her 100m with a commendable time of 13.20, contributing 5 points.
Middle Distances
The 800m and 1500m races were highlights of the meet. Mandy Ruks placed third in the 800m (2:58.25) and second in the 1500m (5:47.72), collectively bringing in 9 points. Alfie Pike excelled in the 1500m, crossing the finish line in 4:20.98 to secure second place and 5 points. Notably, Michelle Tafili claimed victory in the 1500m steeplechase with an impressive time of 6:36.6, earning 6 points.
Long Distances
Charlie Hobbs and Ellie Reimer delivered outstanding performances in the 3Km event. Ellie finishing first with a time of 11:54.11, while Charlie finished in second with 9:58.64. Together, they earned a combined total of 11 points for the team.

High Jump
Martin Willis placed third, earning 4 points.
Throwing Events
The javelin and shot-put saw great efforts. Sophie Mace shone in both disciplines, finishing second in the javelin with a throw of 27.29m (5 points) and first in the shot put with an impressive mark of 11.09m (6 points). Martin Willis contributed additional points with fourth place finishes in both the javelin (18.40m) and shot put (5.51m), earning 3 points each.
Long Jump
The long jump competition saw tied results, with Martin and Michelle both achieving a distance of 3.17m, placing fourth and earning 3 points each.
Relays
The relay teams demonstrated teamwork and resilience. The under-17 team of Rob A Smith, Alfie Pike, Charlie Hobbs, and Matthew Wellinger completed the 4x200m relay in 1:47.25, finishing third and securing 4 points. The senior team of Michelle Tafli, Oluwatobi Aderoju, Martina Brayley, and Sophie Mace also placed third in their 4x200m relay with a time of 2:11.38, adding 3 points to the tally.
Non-Scoring Events
The non-scoring category featured notable individual performances. Among them, Natalie Sacre impressed in the 800m (2:46.77) and 1500m (6:02.79), while Adam Parsons clocked 10:47.05 in the 3Km. Sophie Mace registered a long jump distance of 3.83m, and Martina Brayley delivered an 18.65m throw in the javelin.
Final Reflections
The Rosenheim league opener showcased a mix of seasoned athletes and emerging talent, setting the tone for an exhilarating season ahead. With points earned it was enough for the women’s team to win the match, with the men finishing second. A very good start to the league.
