On Friday 19th January 2024 we held our Club annual Celebration of Achievements evening. With over 100 people in attendance, it was an excellent opportunity to share and celebrate with members, family and friends, some exceptional performances by WAC athletes during the last season. It was an honour to have the Youth Sport Trust’s National School Sport Champion, 4 x Olympic Champion & 6 x World Champion, Sir Mo Farah, to present the prizes, with the assistance of Life member and W45 Masters World 400m Champion, Susie McLoughlin, to the deserved winners. A special thanks to Cat Mackey and Sophie Mace, who did a wonderful job organising the evening which included a quiz, raffle and some fabulous decorating and catering and to club coach, Jamie McLoughlin, for compering.

SAL Match 2, Crawley
Fresh off the back of a triumphant win at home, our next stop was the K2 Leisure complex in Crawley. Not being deterred by the threats of thunderstorms and showers, the team travelled in force and put on a brilliant display and secured many vital points as we continue our charge for promotion, where every point was made to count!
